When friends celebrate
At the end of May, about 650 friends of the national gallery in Berlin celebrated the 40th anniversary of the club’s foundation within the annual general meeting and the subsequent dinner. The event location WECC Berlin was chosen as place of celebration. The satis&fy AG realized the technical and constructional set-up and the dismantling of the event with 20 technicians.
For the gala evening, satis&fy equipped the main hall with light, sound and video technology and made sure that also the after-dinner-party in the small hall was provided with light and sound that created a party atmosphere. Before the evening event, the annual general meeting took place, which satis&fy realized as well. They were responsible for the voice amplification including audio recording, feed technology, controlling and miking in the hall.
In the outdoor area of the WECC, Alestera Battery LEDs (=Alestera AkkuLEDs) were used. For the general meeting on the ground floor the fixed technical equipment in the stage area was complemented with light, sound, video player and projector. The stage for the seven board members of the club had been covered in black and been provided with a black carpet. A photo canvas with a 16 square meter digital print had been placed on the ground floor. For the welcome, satis&fy used the ExpoLite Battery LEDs (=ExpoLite Akku LEDs) and placed them on the ground floor, the stairway and the first floor. More lamps from Exploite had been in action as ambience lighting for the dinner in the big hall. For the after-dinner-party in the small hall, Robe Robin 600 Spots, mirror balls and Singlecan PAR Pinspots were integrated into the lighting technology. A 4x3-meter platform was set up for the DJ and was highlighted by a black traversentor. The sound technology was completed by loudspeaker from d&b.
satis&fy project manager Frederic Sewerin said about the event: “The implementation of the event of the national gallery friends in the WECC, which usually takes place in one of the six houses of the national gallery, was a complete success. The client was impressed and in cooperation with the friends of the national gallery, the team of the WECC and the caterer nothing was left desired. Interesting insights into the work of the club and into the future of the Berlin museum landscape were offered. We thank the friends and we would love to be there again next time!”
