On course for sustained growth

satis&fy AG and Live Matters Group build on the previous year’s success

With a total Group sales of EUR 136 million, satis&fy AG and the affiliated companies of the Live Matters Group (Habegger AG and spaces mgt GmbH) recorded a 14.2 percent increase in sales in the 2023 financial year compared to 2022. An investment offensive in the areas of infrastructure, logistics and technology is paving the way for further growth. Strong focus on sustainability: the second EMAS audit was validated at satis&fy.

STRONG CUSTOMERS & IMPRESSIVE PROJECTS

The transformation into a comprehensive vertical service provider in the event industry that began four years ago is having an impact.

satis&fy AG has increased its project sales by 30 percent compared to the previous year. The tour and live entertainment division was particularly successful, as was an international museal production that was commissioned for several years.

With outstanding productions such as the Hans Zimmer European Tour, Lufthansa, Money20/20, Let’s Dance – The Live Tour, sophisticated corporate events and retail presentations as well as a special focus on major sporting events (Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023, Ruhr Games 2023, UEFA Champions League Final), satis&fy further consolidated its position as the international market leader for live communication and brand experiences. Over 3,600 successful productions by the Live Matters Group in Europe and the USA speak for themselves.

Confirmed by this success, the Live Matters Group launched the most extensive investment package in its history. Over EUR 15.8 million was invested in the expansion of the group-wide technical equipment, the sustainable modernization of the climate control technology in several locations, the significant expansion of the vehicle fleet and logistics and the improvement of the IT infrastructure. With “knw.”, the Group also launched a unique software platform for measuring the performance of live events.

Nico Ubenauf, Vorstand satis&fy AG

“Our customers benefit from the expertise and creativity of our employees as well as from modern technology and software. For us, innovation is a means of inspiring our customers and the industry.”

For this reason, the focus remains on sustainable event implementation at satis&fy and within the Group. In the 2023 financial year, satis&fy AG passed its first EMAS monitoring audit. satis&fy and Habegger Austria have since been entered in the EMAS register. The validation of spaces will take place in 2024. Habegger Switzerland was certified with the “EXPO Event ISO-20121 Sustainable Event Management” label in February 2024. “We are delighted to have opted for the gold standard of sustainability labels. We want our customers to remember their events not only for a long time, but also with a clear conscience,” says Ubenauf.

Outlook 2024

Together with the Live Matters Group, satis&fy also remains on course for growth in 2024. In January 2024, the Orangerie Charlottenburg became the sixth event location to be added to the spaces mgt GmbH portfolio. In addition, extraordinary large-scale projects around the European Championships and the Olympics await satis&fy. The Live Matters Group therefore expects further growth in the current financial year (Oct 23 – Sept 24) and is planning sales of EUR 149 million.
