satis&fy AG successfully passes second audit for the demanding EU environmental management label
For the second time, satis&fy AG has successfully completed the internationally recognized EMAS audit (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) and published an updated environmental statement. The event service provider is thus taking another important step towards sustainability and setting the course within the industry.
The initial audit last year was the starting signal: the continuous and systematic improvement of environmental performance in the work processes at satis&fy. The monitoring audit now confirms this commitment. Because with EMAS, the goal is not only the results, but also the ways to achieve them. Unlike ISO standards or other certificates, EMAS organizations undertake to continuously improve their environmental performance beyond the legal requirements. This includes measurable targets and regular checks to see whether the planned improvements in operational environmental protection have been achieved.
Managing Director Nico Ubenauf is proud of the achievements to date: “We are delighted that measures that have already been implemented are beginning to have a positive impact on satis&fy’s environmental footprint. This progress reflects our consistent pursuit of sustainable, innovative solutions. With EMAS, we have opted for the gold standard among sustainability seals. It is now clear that this was absolutely the right decision.”
Another special feature of EMAS is the high level of employee participation that is required and demanded. Thanks to the lively exchange between individuals, teams and departments, satis&fy has created the ideal conditions here. This is because satis&fy’s service model alone – the one-stop solution – requires the trades to work together at an early stage. The integration of all areas of event technology, logistics and event architecture into the conception, design and event planning enables synergies to be identified and utilized from the very beginning of the project.
“We also tackle future challenges confidently with the help of our employees. This commitment enables us to continuously develop and implement new processes from creative ideas and constantly improve our environmental performance,” says Tobias Mack, Sustainability Manager at satis&fy AG.
One of satis&fy’s main motivations is to realize events that customers not only remember for a long time and with pleasure, but also with a clear conscience. In this way, they want to be the industry-wide benchmark and driving force for good environmental management.
