Live event

As alsways

On October 28th, 2020, L.Stroetmann Lebensmittel GmbH & Co. KG in Emsdetten celebrated the opening and handover of the keys to a new E-Center which includes numerous newly built rental apartments – following nine years of planning and construction. Almost 150 guests attended the opening ceremony in the supermarket parking lot, including star guest Atze Schröder. The concept, the event design, the creation of a hygiene protection protocol and the technical implementation of the celebrations were taken care of by the satis&fy team in Werne.

Laser mapping and pyro show

High expectations are set on the new shopping centre in the city centre. It should not only be a place to shop, but also a meeting and exchange point for all people in Emsdetten and the surrounding area. Therefore, at the opening no expense was spared on security. After introductory words were shared by Max Stroetmann, the company owner, as well as the mayor and the local pastor, the finale was marked by musically-synchronized laser and pyrotechnics shows which impressed all those attending. For the laser show, satis&fy brought on board a laser factory from Cologne, and Lunatx for the pyrotechnics. The entire show had previously been programmed in timecode. In addition to lighting, sound and video technology, the company was also responsible for setting up a trailer stage for the opening speeches.

Live event thanks to hygiene concept

Planning a face-to-face event during Covid-19 times requires a lot of preparation to properly safeguard the health of the guests. “First and foremost, of course, is the development of a comprehensive hygiene protection concept,” says satis&fy project manager Philipp Reher. This was formulated by a certified hygiene specialist in event management within our organization. Among other things, it stipulated that all guests had to register in advance and fill out a medical history sheet. On site, each guest was assigned to a section in the spacious parking lot. “Originally, we had planned to place ten people in each lounge, ensuring sufficient safety distance from the neighbouring group,” explains the project manager. However, at short notice on the day of construction, since the applicable decrees are constantly changing, the groups had to be reduced to a maximum of five people per table. During the event, the person responsible for hygiene then ensured that all rules and regulations were safely adhered to. “It is a good feeling to see that live events can take place if all steps are considered in advance and all precautions are taken. Even going to the toilet was done in a safe way”, says Reher happily.
