Hybrid Cloud Summit - An event from a single source
satis&fy realises the Hybrid Cloud Summit for Thinkport GmbH
Many companies are striving to move to the cloud. But some are unable or unwilling to move all IT components to the public cloud. How can they nevertheless connect their own infrastructure with public cloud providers, such as AWS or Google, to reduce risks and costs? How can you create more exchange between companies and thus trigger the modernisation of the IT infrastructure? Answers to these questions were provided by the first Hybrid Cloud Summit of Thinkport GmbH at PALAIS FRANKFURT.

The satis&fy team was involved from the very beginning and supported Thinkport GmbH in all aspects – from location scouting to technical and operational planning. Together with the organiser, the team developed an optimal concept in just four months which combined such different aspects as networking, trade fair and conference elements. Of course, the best possible staging of the professional part was a priority.
The programme included key note presentations, panel discussions and best practice examples of hybrid cloud. Likewise, the planning had to take into account sponsors’ wishes and that entertainment for the guests was guaranteed. Therefore, a get-together with a DJ formed the conclusion of the event. However, all this requires detailed planning and technical know-how. For the Hybrid Cloud Summit, satis&fy provided the complete package.
The one-stop solution
We took over the entire project organisation for Thinkport GmbH.
Starting with the location scouting, in which our client decided on the PALAIS FRANKFURT in the end. As exclusive partner of this location, the satis&fy team knows the place very well and was able to suggest the optimal solutions for its ideas.
The scenic design was also in our hands. Our team designed the main stage and the speaker’s corner, but also played a major role in selecting the right furniture and advised the client on the best possible arrangement in the location. Plants were used for appropriate decoration.
In addition, there were extensive design and technical services, such as the printing of a wide range of materials, for example banners or stage backgrounds and, of course, sound, video and lighting. Beyond the conference technology, the satis&fy team set the scene for the event by providing harmonious ambient lighting and suitable visuals on the LED ceiling of the PALAIS FRANKFURT.
Apart from the technology, we also supported the organiser in event management: this included first and foremost the entire coordination of the event, but also travel management as well as the organisation of catering, hostesses and moderation. Our team also took care of such important details as the bouquet of flowers for the moderator.
