WTT Champions 2024
One-stop solution from satis&fy scores at the WTT Championships in Frankfurt | Thanks to a huge investment in equipment and personnel, this impressive event was realized in record time.
When the world’s elite table tennis players make their way to Frankfurt with thousands of fans in tow, it’s not just a sporting event. The eight match days of the WTT Champions 2024 offered not only excellent athletic performances but also a festival atmosphere and memorable show and wow moments. This was ensured in particular by the bombastic light show, which also incorporated the entrance tunnel, LED strips in the floor panels, LED video wall, and the banners around the court. A holistic spectacle on a world-class level.
Sports festival at the Süwag Energie Arena
On behalf of Perfect Match, satis&fy contributed significantly to the show character of the event. Among other things, 230 lights, mostly from satis&fy’s own inventory, were arranged on an octagonal rig construction above the center court. The LED wall made of ROE Topaz modules also came from satis&fy’s inventory. In addition to a particularly high pixel pitch for extremely sharp resolution, the specially designed opening in the LED wall, together with the entrance tunnel behind it, created an exciting depth effect. The exciting light show was completed by the center court banners, which were also tailored to the Topaz modules and designed and built in collaboration with satis&fy technicians. The final touches were added by the LED strips embedded in the floor panels of the playing field and the catwalk. The result was a consistent look from the stage entrance to the field.

Great commitment across all departments
In addition to lighting, satis&fy was also responsible for sound, video, set construction, custom builds, and power supply. Crystal-clear sound was ensured by the retrofitted PA system from the L-Acoustics portfolio (K3 and Kara II). The result was an immersive sound experience both during the matches and during the show performances.
Due to the tight schedule for planning, smooth teamwork was essential behind the scenes at the WTT Champions. With an exceptional workforce of up to 45 people per day at times, satis&fy ensured that all trades were able to deliver on time and with the required quality. It was an effort that paid off: the audience, organizers, and athletes will remember the emotional week in Frankfurt for a long time to come.
