Initiated in 2014 by Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, the INVICTUS GAMES DÜSSELDORF 2023 will take place in Germany for the first time this year. Under the motto „A HOME FOR RESPECT.“ , the major sporting event aims to give soldiers who are wounded, injured or ill in body or soul greater visibility and awareness in society. A task in which satis&fy AG is involved with particular dedication and pride, after it was able to convince the public tender especially through the conceptual design in the areas of logistics, sustainability, material preparation and flexibility.

„We have the advantage of being able to draw on a strong infrastructure directly in Düsseldorf, such as the material warehouses and preparation facilities. We also work with prepared modules and coding, trackable trucks and our own logisticians for transport and materials, so that set-up and dismantling run as smoothly as possible,” says Philipp Reher, Managing Director of satis&fy Düsseldorf.

In addition, satis&fy is involved in equipping the venues, providing sound reinforcement for the stands and illumination for the sports fields themselves, interfacing with broadcasting and at many other points. At the top-class sporting event, the city of Düsseldorf, together with the German Armed Forces, welcomes more than 500 participants from 22 nations to compete in ten disciplines.

The intensive preliminary planning, especially in terms of material preparation, is already up and running. The satis&fy crew will start preparations at the end of August and will be on site from the beginning of September. The hot set-up and dismantling phase will be managed by a crew of up to 346 members in three interlocking shifts around the clock.
