Europe’s largest B2B trade fair for sustainable innovations took place in Fredenhagen for the third time.
Lectures, panel discussions and master classes were on the program. There was also an exhibition area. Highlights included keynote speeches by Economics Minister Tarek Al-Wazir, Prof. Dr. Maja Göpel and Dr. Eckart von Hirschhausen. And let’s not forget the Impact Award ceremony, which honored companies for their promising sustainable solutions.
An art exhibition gave all guests the opportunity to explore the topic of “sustainable transformation” in a creative way. The artist Verena Kandler also created new works of art live on site using old materials from past events.
Of course, an event of this kind should not only be about sustainability, but should also itself be sustainable. Of course, satis&fy played its part in this:
All the exhibition booths and the new outdoor stage were designed using Layher scaffolding elements. A striking and reusable look that had already proven its worth in previous years. The stage sets for the main and side stages were also used for a third time following 2021 and 2022.
Wherever possible, the crew avoided using disposable materials. Banners were reused, carpets were used sparingly – industrial charm instead of a typical exhibition booth look. After the festival, tarps and banners that can no longer be used are converted into bags and aprons. Last but not least, the logistics also contributed to the event’s green footprint: Good empties management reduced the number of transport trailers required to a minimum.
