Turning opportunities into success

satis&fy AG looks back on an above-average year in 2022

Pre-pandemic sales level exceeded \ 126 new employees recruited \ Investment offensive launched \ Management level strengthened \ Sustainability management developed

satis&fy AG has returned to its pre-pandemic sales level in 2022, setting an example at the top of the events industry.

With total Group sales of EUR 119 million, the international market leader for live communication and 3D marketing has exceeded 2019 sales by EUR 3 million and has thus emerged stronger from the crisis-ridden Corona years.

There are several reasons for this. The mostly virtual customer contacts from the pandemic have been expanded by satis&fy and transformed into stable relationships. In addition, further locations were acquired together with the sister company spaces mgt GmbH, under the umbrella of the Live Matters Group. satis&fy is a permanent partner in locations such as THE FRAME in Düsseldorf, in the CURIO-HAUS in Hamburg, as well as in the brand new VILCO, which will open in Bad Vilbel near Frankfurt at the end of April 2023.

satis&fy’s goal is to become the most comprehensive vertical service provider in the event industry. That’s how it’s formulated in Vision 2024, and that’s what Management Board member Nico Ubenauf and the team focused on in 2022 as well:

„We have done our homework and accompany our customers with exceptional and creative services from planning to implementation,” says Ubenauf.

This growth and the depth of value creation need people: In addition to 126 new employees at all sites, 5 % returnees who ventured out of the industry due to the pandemic are also back on board. The company has also expanded in management with three new executives since January 2023.

Kai Mäder was recruited as the new Managing Director for the Rhine/Main location, while Erik Takes takes over as Managing Director for the location in the Netherlands. With Michael Tschakert, the management team in the parent company, the Live Matters Group, was also strengthened.

We will now further optimize the overall good conditions with an investment offensive,“ says Nico Ubenauf, describing the plan for 2023. „We are investing 10 million euros in further training, company transformation, modernization of equipment and important future topics, above all sustainability.

satis&fy has already passed the demanding EMAS certification in the past fiscal year 2022. This means that many prerequisites have been created for identifying potential for improvement, reducing the ecological footprint and making events fit for the future in terms of environmental and climate aspects as well.
