fwd: Federal Association of the Event Industry
satis&fy is a new member of fwd:
satis&fy AG, specialist for live communication, is now a member of fwd: Bundesvereinigung Veranstaltungswirtschaft. The newly founded industry representation stands for the entirety of the event industry. The symbolic name Forward (fwd: for short) shows the direction of action and thinking: forward!
fwd: sees itself as a reinvention of the former cross-sectional association FAMAB, which has been established for decades and in which the diverse fields of the event industry have an organizational and content-related home. With the aim of representing political and social interests, fwd: is committed to securing the future of this key industry.

Unity from diversity
Nico Ubenauf, CEO of satis&fy: “For many years, we have wanted an industry representative that covers all areas. And that in a format at eye level. Until now, all associations were present with core competencies: technology, freelancers, exhibition stand construction, DJ, showmen. Now we have an association for the entire breadth of the event industry.”
Flexible platform for greater individuality
The special thing about fwd: is that not only companies and associations can be members, but everyone can get involved there. There are a variety of ways to get involved without an entry hurdle.
All people in the industry are equally addressed: from solo self-employed, trainees and students, small businesses to the large medium-sized companies and organizations.
Nico Ubenauf: “We want the entire industry to work together on its further development. It’s not enough for a few company bosses to sit down together and talk about it. Instead, we form a community with each other – that is the Forward. For the first time, we have succeeded in bringing such a format to life. We at satis&fy are proud to be part of this community.”
