Expertise drives new partnership
satis&fy selected as preferred technology partner for the MCC Halle Münsterland Congress Centre
Over the past 90 years – the MCC Halle Münsterland Congress Centre has been the largest event center in the region and on November 14th, reopened with a ceremony and special event - after a comprehensive renovation. The improved and updated modern halls and foyers impressed visitors and inspired new collaboration with professional partners from many different event sectors. satis&fy was selected as the preferred technology and fixture partner for the venue - based on the company’s unmatched track record and reputation in the field. “We look forward to this partnership and sharing our exceptional know-how, state of the art equipment and talented and experienced personnel with the venue, clients and visitors,” Jörn Busch, managing director, satis&fy Werne, explained.
For the opening celebration, satis&fy was able to showcase new and existing video technology - like the “Intellifridge”, the first multimedia-based fridge developed in cooperation with LG electronics. This unique element’s refrigerator door is an actual screen that can be programmed and used for presentation /brand display. Guests attending the opening event also had an opportunity to experience the Congress Centre through the world of Virtual Reality. VR glasses and programming highlighted the ability to see the three-dimensional world of the Congress Centre and guests were invited to experience in this emerging technology first hand. “As a company, we (satis&fy) are excited have the resources to develop top level VR technology,” Busch said and pointed out that the MCC Halle Münsterland will invest in an on-site VR station. A transparent OLED Touch Display, a Puffersphere and a digital football table were also part of the opening exhibition of technical options for clients and events.
Klaus Liermann, division manager of guest events for the MCC Halle Münsterland GmbH, explained: “satis&fy was already responsible for the technical implementation of many in-house events in both planning and execution – and always convinced as competent partner.
